The Association is very sad to announce that Mrs Mary Pye died on 17th April 2008.
Mrs Mary Pye was a long standing supporter, and through Mr and Mrs J. A. Pye’s Charitable Settlement benefactor, of our organisation. This support has continued over 24 years. Mary Pye lost her daughter Jacqueline in 1976 as a result of untreated post-natal illness. The Association message of the frequency of post-natal illness and the certainty of recovery, when it is recognised and treated, was a cause that was close to her heart. Mary Pye was a lovely lady who endured losses and trials in her own life with strength and without a trace of bitterness. Mary Pye was a very intelligent lady, who had a strong religious faith. She loved travelling and meeting up with friends and family. Mary Pye leaves a legacy of goodness behind her. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. |
