We are incredibly grateful to Anna McCarthy who raised over £1600 for APNI. Anna, along with friends Claire, Grey and Matt have completed the Three Peaks in Three Days challenge.
This challenge was in memory of Anna’s sister in law, Emma, who sadly passed away 12 years ago. Anna’s family and friends have been supporting APNI over the years and we cannot thank them enough for all the fundraising they have done. Anna’s JustGiving page states: “In 4 weeks time myself and some friends will be climbing three peaks in three days; Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon. We are excited yet nervous… it won’t be easy, but nothing in life worth experiencing is easy, right?! Many of my friends have asked me if I am fundraising for this adventure which is so kind of you all…. So here I am, asking for your support. Some of you may know that I lost my sister in-law, 12 years ago, to an illness that isn’t really talked about or taken seriously and certainly doesn’t get the much needed funding it requires. I wish no one had to go through what Emma did and subsequently, what her family went through. APNI are a charity set up to help families experiencing Post Natal Illness and is run solely on volunteers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.”
