On 28th March 2026, Elaine, alongside close family and friends, took on the challenge of climbing Pen-Y-Fan. More than just a walk, this was a deeply meaningful journey. One taken in memory of her daughter, Lauren.
Together, they climbed with purpose, determination and love, raising an incredible £3,900 along the way.
For us as a small charity, fundraising efforts like Elaine’s are truly invaluable. Behind every donation is the ability to reach someone who may be struggling, to offer support at the right moment, and to remind people that they are not alone.
Postnatal depression can be an incredibly isolating experience. Many people suffer in silence, unsure of where to turn. Thanks to fundraising like this, we can continue working towards a future where no one has to face those challenges on their own.
Elaine’s journey is also one of finding purpose through loss. In the face of unimaginable tragedy, she has transformed her grief into something that helps others by creating hope, raising awareness, and making a real difference to those who need support.
We are so grateful to Elaine and everyone who supported her along the way. Your kindness, strength and commitment make a real and lasting difference.
