If you are having suicidal thoughts
Many women who experience post-natal depression feel so desperate that they consider ending their life. Our primary aim at The Association for Post-natal Illness (APNI) is to try to prevent the terrible waste of a young life because we know, from thousands of women who have contacted us feeling truly terrible, that you, like them, will recover and be yourself again.
We are very happy to offer you advice, information and support to help you whilst you recover from PND but if you are having thoughts about ending your life we urge you to also contact one of the organisations that we have listed below as they have special expertise to help you with these feelings of despair and hopelessness.
These three organisations are tested, reliable and completely confidential. Please access every bit of help that you can get. You need it now. The Association for Post-natal Illness and our sister organisations are honoured to offer you support at this difficult time.
