Where a mother with a baby maybe experiencing mental health issuess, it can be difficult to know where to turn to. Not everyone has enough support available to them with family or local community.
This is where mother and baby units (MBUs) can provide a safe and supportive environment for mothers and their babies, where both can receive the care they need.
